  Race Analysis  As a community we are countlessly overlooked, mistreated, discriminated and hardly ever respected, for years we have had a perception of we are ghetto, animals, gang members and very dangerous people because of our skin. We are targeted by police enforcement, Nazi's pretty much anything who are not our race. Not everybody is against us, but there's not a lot of races who stand with us (Majority White People).  Diversity:  - The Black Community is very hard to have different races in our community, we respect people who respects us. During these times in the world right now we've been more stronger together with our people and have been demanding for more respect in the world, we haven't backed down or stayed silent we keep using our voice until we get heard.  Equity:  - We believe in ourselves so much and we have a whole community that helps us chase our dreams and make them reality.   SOCIAL MOVEMENT ANALYSIS Outgroup : The Black Panther party is a group of black people working together to fight against systemic oppression. Angela Davis is one notable member and leader of the Black Panther Party. Collective : Large group of people working across the nation to further their mission and philosophy by any means necessary. Who they confront : Police, racists; targeting all oppression in US on basis of economic exploitation anybody who doesn't support or respect black people as human. They don't start trouble just because, but when they feel threatened or disrespected that's when they defend theirselves.   CULTURAL ANALYSIS OF WENDYS Culture: unapologetic, authentic; communicates with audience via social media, main source of interaction with their consumers and audience is twitter. The most Icon memes and interactions come from twitter where a lot of people tweet their opinions and ideas. Frosty is their signature, use it in their branding. Frosty has been the main trademark for Wendy's it causes a lot of consumers to drive through Wendy's on a hot summer day to get a frosty. Values: authenticity, quality, deals and affordability, humor. Social practices: social media use, ads, promote deals, talk and interact with audience on twitter. Their social media presence has been huge for years, they have been very active making fun of other fast foods and how their quality of food isn't top notch as Wendy's.

  Late Night Comedy Shows (Textual Analysis) Characteristics : A lot of comedy shows sometimes have a video section where a skit/context is created to set up their joke. It helps the audience have an idea of what the comedian jokes are going to be focused on. Pulling from current events and news to create jokes, most comedian jokes comes from current events because the topic is fresh and mainly everybody in the world has acknowledged that current event.   Typically use political commentary Usually one person standing or sitting and looking into camera; audience off camera can be heard laughing  Music performances, band to emphasize comedy routine Comedy monologue, skits, featured guests and famous musicians perform, Having other celebrities on their show helps bring in different audience group.
